Music I Want to Share

Today I went to a classical concert for the first time in a while.

A flutist I really like performed with violin, bassoon and accordion.
It was an unusual and interesting combination.

The program included music by Bartók, Boismortier, Bach and Brahms.

Music from different places and different times.

There was also a world premiere of Asterism (星彩) by Japanese composer Natsuko Edano.

The piece was written for flute and accordion.

It made me think of the universe, but I could also feel something Japanese in the music.

It was beautiful, and it gave me goosebumps.

There are so many wonderful pieces and musicians here in Japan.

I want more people around the world to know them.

And I want to talk about this music with people who discover it.

I want to hear more.

I also want to travel around the world and discover music I have never heard before.

And when I do, I want to talk about it with the people there.

That was what I was thinking on the last Sunday of September.
